Clarithromycin is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia).
DALCINEX INJECTION contains Clindamycin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage serious bacterial infections in adults and adolescents above 12 years of age. Bacterial infection occurs when bacteria enter the body, increasing in number and causing a reaction in the body. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, headache, nausea, vomiting and swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin or elsewhere.
Cefepime + Tazobactum is a combination of two medicines: Cefepime and Tazobactum. Cefepime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate cefepime. Addition of Tazobactum reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefepime against bacteria.
Forzid 2gm Injection contains an active component as Ceftazidime. It is an antibiotic medication that belongs to the class of drugs known as cephalosporins. This medication has a broad spectrum of activity against Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella species, Escherichia coli, Proteus species, and many others. It is commonly used to treat various bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms. It is used in treating lower respiratory tract infections, skin and skin structure infections, bone and joint infections, urinary tract infections, gynecologic infections, bacterial septicemia (bacterial infection entering the bloodstream), abdominal infections, and central nervous system infections caused by various strains of bacteria. This medicine can be combined with other antibiotics to create synergistic effects, enhancing the overall effectiveness of treatment in certain cases.
