Infimab 100mg Injection is an antirheumatic medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as TNF (tumour necrosis factor) alfa inhibitors containing the active ingredient Infliximab. This medication is used to treat various inflammatory conditions, primarily autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and psoriasis.
Tofacitinib, also known as Xeljanz, is a type of drug known as a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor. It works by blocking the action of Janus kinase enzymes, which are involved in the inflammation that causes the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis.
Tofacitinib is a long-term treatment. Most people who benefit from this treatment will notice an improvement the first 12 weeks of starting treatment.
