- heavy duty spindle is fitted in ball bearings and driven by 'v' belts and pulleys.
- both the abrasive wheel and belts are covered with protective guards.
- vice is provided on the job platform for holding the jobs. The platform position is adjustable to accommodate job of odd shapes.

- the cavity of machine frame and a tank under the platform acts as coolant storage and is covered by a sieve filter.
