Sandwich Panels

Sandwich Panels

Factory assembled double skin insulated metal cladding made up of 0.45mm TCT (Total Coated Thickness) Colour coated GI sheets for outer and inner skins. Sheets having yield strength of 240MPA, galvanizing of zinc 120GSM and high density polyurethane Foam is sandwiched with continuous production method for maximum thermal efficiency. The outer skin is having Trapezoidal profile and having 35mm crest height and pitch is 250mm while inner skin is having flat profile with slightly ribbed steel sheet. The core in between the outer profiled sheet and inner profiled sheet shall be polyurethane foam in different thickness having Density of 40kg per cubic mtr (+/- 2 kg). The foam shall be filled in between the outer sheet and inner sheet at factory using latest continuous method. Special crown type overlapping arrangement is made in the panel to make the panel leak proof. (Refer attached sketch). Standard cover width of panel is 1000mm while length will be as per the site requirement say up to max. 12 mtrs. The fasteners to be used for this continuous process made panels, shall be of adequate size and shall be of self drilling and self tapping type compatible to be used with PPGI sheets.

ACP Cladding :

  • Aluminium composite panel (ACP) also aluminium composite material, (ACM) is a type of flat panel that consists of two thin aluminium sheets bonded to a non-aluminium core. ACPs are frequently used for external cladding or facades of buildings, insulation, and signage.
  • Aluminium sheets can be coated with polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), fluoropolymer resins (FEVE), or polyester paint. Aluminium can be painted in any kind of colour, and ACPs are produced in a wide range of metallic and non-metallic colours as well as patterns that imitate other materials, such as wood or marble. The core is commonly low density polyethylene, or a mix of low density polyethylene and mineral material to exhibit fire retardant properties ACP is mainly used for external and internal architectural cladding or partitions, false ceilings, signage, machine coverings, container construction etc

 

Applications : 

  • Applications of ACP are not limited to external building cladding, but can also be used in any form of cladding such as partitions, false ceilings etc. ACP is also widely used within the signage industry as an alternative to heavier, more expensive substrates.
