Solar distillatory evaporates raw/impure water to provide distilled water, it’s a solar water purifier!
Design: Comprises a transparent glass cover, a black basin for holding impure water, a condensation surface on the inner side of the cover, and a collection channel for distilled water.
How it Works: Sunlight enters through the glass cover, heating the water in the black basin. As the water evaporates, it condenses on the underside of the glass and drips into the collection channel as distilled water.
Best For: Water purification and producing distilled water.
Pros: Effective for obtaining clean drinking water from contaminated sources, simple to set up.
Cons: Limited to water purification, not for cooking food. However mineralization can be done to make it drinkable.
