Designed and built to cover multiple international testing standards, the Ray-RanAdvanced HDT/ VicatApparatus utilises microprocessor technology to accurately determine the deflection andsoftening point characteristics of all thermo plastic test specimens.
The HDT/Vicat apparatus allows for multiple simultaneous testing of samples depending on the amount of test stations available, either 2 or 4.
Test results are downloaded to the supplied file capture software via the Rs232 serial connector and are displayed in tabular format. Results can also be saved as .CSV files which can be opened with microsoft excel for data manipulation and report presentation. if required, the optional thermal printer can be supplied and fitted to the apparatus for direct results printout.

The TBX1000 Transmission Densitometer measures ISO Visual diffuse Optical Density (OD) to 6.60D. This wide measuring range allows evaluation of many types of film, laminates, and substrates. The unit comes with a 2.00D calibration standard but optional valued calibration standards may be purchased. The TBX1500 also calculates positive and negative dot areas while the TBX2000 measures percent opacity and transmission. The data can be uploaded to spreadsheets via its USB port (An optional program needs to be purchased). The TBX can show deviations from a stored reference value for all functions.

Luxcel's MitoXpress Xtra - Oxygen Consumption Assay (HS Method) is a highly flexible 96 or 384-well fluorescence plate reader-based approach, for the direct, real-time analysis of cellular respiration and mitochondrial function. The easy-to-use MitoXpress Xtra assay allows measurement of extracellular oxygen consumption rates (OCR) with whole cell populations (both adherent and suspension cells), isolated mitochondria, permeabilised cells and a wide range of 3D cultures including: tissues, small organisms, spheroids, scaffolds and matrixes. The assay is also suitable for measurement of isolated enzymes, bacteria, yeasts and moulds.
Luxcel's flexible plate reader format, allows multiparametric or multiplex combination with Luxcel's other products, as well as combination with commonly available reagents to measure glycolysis, LDH, JC-1, MMP (?), ROS, and cellular ATP. ONDIO Application Builder Software allows custom testing and for standard NEXYGEN software set-ups to be modified. ONDIO software is based upon the VB Script programming language.
NEXYGEN MT software packages have been designed to offer solutions for most common force measurement and materials testing applications. However, when users need to perform custom tests or simply want to modify their NEXYGEN software test set-up to perform additional functions not part of the standard test set-up, Lloyd Instruments offers the ONDIO Application Builder Software.

All Lloyd Instruments loadcells are high accuracy, self-identifying full bridge strain gauged load cells, designed to meet international standards for load cell accuracy. Load cells are available in a range of capacities from 5 N to 150 kN depending on the machine used and test to be performed.
The load cells meets BS EN ISO 7500 part 1 and ASTM E4 for a 0.5% accuracy of reading load cell. These standards state that the load cells can be verified down to 2% of load range but can read down to zero load.

Emphasizing ease of operation, the Pac Guard 400 can detect weak heat seals, gross leaks, or small pin holes in finished products within seconds. This portable system can be used to test blister packs, foil pouches, plastic pouches, thermoformed cups, bottles, boxes, and small packages. The VeriPac D-Series are versatile non-destructive package inspection systems specially designed for pouches and flexible packaging. VeriPac inspection systems provide a qualitative result (PASS or FAIL) as well as quantitative data that correlates to leak rate and leak size. To accommodate various package specifications and test sensitivity requirements, the VeriPac D-Series is available in several configurations for both the leak test instrument and the test chamber capacity.
The VeriPac D-Series utilize an ASTM approved non-destructive vacuum decay leak test method (F2338) recognized by the FDA as a consensus standard for package integrity testing. This test method was developed using VeriPac leak test instruments.
VeriPac D-Series inspection systems are a practical alternative to destructive testing because they eliminate the subjective results, the waste and cost associated with these methods. Vacuum decay leak testing technology has proven to provide a rapid return on investment when compared to destructive methods, such as the water bath test. VeriPac D-Series testers have also resolved the issue of finding critical defects that affect product quality and shelf life. Since VeriPac test cycles are very short and testing is non-destructive, both the number of samples and testing frequency can be increased.
VeriPac D-Series leak test systems are specially designed for package integrity testing of pouches and flexible packaging.
Principle; This is a simple low medium through-put test that provides total aerobic viable counts(TVC's or APC's) of food samples by measuring bacterial oxygen consumption and equating oxygen consumption to viable microbial load. As bacteria in the test sample grow and respire they deplete 02 which is detected as an increase in the GreenLight probe signal above the baseline level. The time required to reach this increase in signal is used to calculate the the cfu/g of the original food sample, based on a pre-determined calibration.
The GreenLight 930 offers simplicity and time saving features not possible with legacy systems such as film or agar plate techniques. Time to result is more than 10 times faster and testing costs are reduced by eliminating the serial dilution of samples and multiple plate readings.
The GreenLight Model 930 is ideal for companies whose daily requirements for screening total plate counts (aerobic plate counts, APC, TPC, TVC) is above 25 assays per day.

The Delta Hi-E is a high efficiency device designed to pressure test PET bottles. Typically used in package testing laboratories, bottling plants or at a PET bottle blowing facilities. The Delta uses precise state of the art measuring and control systems to reflect accurately the actual pressure and expansion in the case of PET specimens. Various ramp and dwell profiles can be created and stored in the machine memory. The control system also holds a calibration routine for both pressure and volume. This can be used for periodic machine calibration and is easily done by the user. Tooling is flexible and interchangeable to suit most unusual shapes of bottle. The Delta Hi-E operates from a standard 100psi compressed air connection; it does not require connection to a high-pressure gas bottle or air intensifier.

The Newage 5620 Series HiLight Brinell Optical Scopes features a high-efficiency LED array for its light source, providing excellent illumination and improved readability over conventional flash light scopes. Mounted to a rotating turntable, specimens are subjected to the rub-wear action of two abrasive wheels. Single Platform Rotary Abraser (Abrader) -Model 5135 features a single specimen turntable.
Dual Platform Rotary Abraser (Abrader) -Model 5155 features a dual specimen turntable, which allows you to perform two tests simultaneously (test two different or identical specimens for comparison or contrast). Separate function keys operate the turntables independent of each other.
Test DescriptionUp to " thick specimens, are mounted to a rotating turntable and subjected to the wearing action of two abrasive wheels, which are applied at a specific pressure.Characteristic rub-wear action is produced by contact of the test sample, turning on a vertical axis, against the sliding rotation of two abrading wheels. The wheels are driven by the sample in opposite directions about a horizontal axis displaced tangentially from the axis of the sample. One abrading wheel rubs the specimen outward toward the periphery and the other, inward toward the center. The resulting abrasion marks form a pattern of crossed arcs over an area approximately 30 square centimeters.
An important feature of the TABER Abraser (Abrader) is the wheels traverse a complete circle on the specimen surface. This reveals abrasion resistance at all angles relative to the weave or grain of the material. Test parameters can be altered, which enables the user to determine the optimal setting for each product or material.
