Dansensor has developed a compact on-line leak system, making it possible to spot leaky packages in large shipping crates. The CO2 already present in the MAP packages as trace gas can be used to test all packages shortly after leaving the packaging machine.
Naturally, this test method is non-destructive and it has the added bonus of making it possible to test 4-6 cartons per minute.
