PP-H Area Of Uses
The material is distinguished for its outstanding sliding properties, extreme wear resistance, high impact strength and very high resistance to chemicals and has established itself in technical applications. Therefore it is employed to solve friction, wear and material flow problems in many areas of the industry. The distinct features of PE-UHMW are that it is nontoxic, tasteless and odorless. It is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals except oxidizing acids; it has a very low coefficient of friction (significantly lower than nylon and acetal, comparable to that of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, Teflon), but PE-UHMW has better abrasion resistance than PTFE.).
PE-UHMW is self-lubricating; and is highly resistant to abrasion. It is 15 times more resistant to abrasion than carbon steel. It has extremely low moisture absorption.

It is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability. Polyoxymethylene Co polymer (POM-C) is also known as Acetal and Polyacetal. It is produced by different chemical firms with slightly different formulas.
The principal applications are in high performance engineering components such as ski bindings, fasteners, knife handles, lock systems, small gear wheels, ball bearings and model rocket launch buttons. It is extensively used in the consumer electronics and automotive industry.
Commonly extruded as continuous lengths of round or rectangular section; POM-C can be cut to length and sold as bar or sheet stock for machining.
POM-C MachiningPOM-C may be machined using traditional methods such as turning, milling, drilling etc. when supplied as extruded bar or sheet. Where production economics do not merit the expense of melt processing, these processes are employed. The material is easy to cut and requires sharp tools with a high clearance angle. It is recommended to use soluble cutting lubricant, although not necessary.

The combination of physical properties such as chemical resistance, toughness, light weight and resistance to abrasion, PA (Nylon) 6 is regularly machined into parts to replace brass, steel, bronze, and aluminium. Nylon 66 most is enhanced with molybdenum 2 disulfide. It provides a lower coefficient of friction and also improved wear resistance. PA (Nylon) 66 GF 30 is reinforced with 30% glass fibres. Eco-Drain Structured Wall Pipes-Eco-Drain Structured Wall Pipes - IS 15328These pipes have a unique wall structure i.e. with a number of “holes” in the wall thickness in longitudinal direction. They are not solid wall pipes. As a result, the eco-drain pipes are noticeably lighter and less expensive than any existing PVC pipe of similar stiffness and many times lighter than a concrete pipe, with equivalent load carrying capacity. These pipes are widely accepted and used in several European countries. The vessel must be designed to withstand the load of someone standing on these ladders, and even withstand a person standing on the roof. Sloped bottoms allow for easier draining. Level gauges allow someone to accurately read the liquid level in the tank. The vessel must be resistant to the corrosive nature of the fluid it contains. Typically, these vessels have a secondary containment structure, in case the vessel bursts.
