This is a fluoropolymer, a specialty plastic material. Generally used in applications requiring resistance to solvents, acids, bases and heat and low smoke generation during a fire event.
It has an easier melt process because of its melting point of around 177 °C.

It is available as tubing, films, plate, piping products, sheet and an insulator for premium wire. As it is injected, molded or welded, it is commonly used in the medical and defense industries, chemical, semiconductor as well as in lithium ion batteries. It is also used increasingly in aviation and aerospace applications where it is available as a cross linked closed cell foam.

Chemically it is a copolymer of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene.
The Ethylene Chlorotri Fluoro Ethylene was designed to provide excellent chemical resistance in heavy duty corrosion applications. This is a partially fluorinated polymer (a fluoropolymer), semi-crystalline and can be processed in the melt.
