The refining system to "Buratto" with aqua regia is a new type of technology compared to traditional gold refining systems of the static type "".
It is mainly a totally different working method. The static system is still a craft system while with the "Buratto" you adopt a refining process much more industrial.
The "Buratto" consists of a polypropylene cylinder having a 'inclination of about 25 , and this is constantly rotated by a geared motor with the possibility of also adjust the speed of rotation by means of a potentiometer.Another big advantage is that the system can work in the night without requiring the supervision of an operator.
It is a 'multi-purpose facility since it allows you to refine the gold chippings as well as the casting scrap and certain types of precious ashes.

Principle of operation
Through a combination of acids and the subsequent use of chemical compounds it is possible to refine gold containing alloys.The refining process can be summarized in several operations:

Refining by aqua regia
The minimum recommended title for the gold alloys to be refined must be at least 600/1000.
Lower Titles significantly reduce productivity by increasing the processing time.
The percentage of silver present in the alloy should not exceed 10-12%. Higher values can reduce the productivity of the process as well as adding the times.
The gold will be melted and reduced to fine grit (through a melting furnace and a container for the production of grits) or small plates. These latter make it possible to maximize the effect of dissociation due to their high external surface when they are immersed in aqua regia solution.
The grit, due to a lower outer surface and more irregular shape, it needs a longer time for its complete dissociation, sometimes leaving residues in the reactor

The implant serves to refine, by aqua regia, platinifere alloys. The maximum quantity affinabile with this plant is 1-2-5 kg / cycle. The cycle duration is 3 days 8 hours and the title obtained is 999.5 / 1000.

The plant is used for iron dissolving in the empty items of jewelery by means of an HCl solution.
The system is constructed with self-extinguishing polypropylene plate and allows the simultaneous dissolution of 30 Kg of articles, reducing the emptying time by approximately 50% compared to static systems.The solution is heated by introduction of steam generator from special plant.

The type ovens FN70 / A-A1, FN100 / A-A1, FN140 / AB have two heating zones. The electrical heating elements are constructed with a thread resistant to temperatures exceeding 1200 C. The muffle is constructed in refractory steel. The cooling chamber, patented, is made of stainless steel so as to prevent the dripping of condensate on the materials to be welded or anneal. The cooling is carried out it in closed loop by a group consisting of: a stainless steel tank containing
decalcified water, a recirculation pump, and a water-water heat exchanger to be connected to a water system of plain water. This assembly is mounted on all belt furnaces with the exception of models FN50 / A-A1-A2. The ovens adopt static power modules in place of traditional contactors. The movement of the tape is controlled by a microprocessor in order to ensure the stability of the motorcycle. The ovens are equipped with a time switch for switching on and off. The motion of the belt start-up and the opening of cooling water takes place automatically when the oven temperature exceeds 350 C. The ribbon movement off and the cooling water closure happen automatically when the oven temperature drops below 350 C. The protective gas used for the two protective burners are: propane, methane or butane. As regards the feeding of the reducing gas (H2 + N2) can be used both in cylinders or generated by dissociation of ammonia.
