Sedimentation And Microfiltration System
This system is used for the treatment of waste water or process from the processing of precious metals manufacturing industries.

The wastewater / process normally contain small amounts of precious metal solid particles in the form of sludge, difficult to treat with the use of standard equipment such as settling tanks for gravity, filter presses, etc .

The plant consists of two units that allow two processing steps:

  1. lamellar settling Bath high performance, an average of three / four times more efficient than traditional sedimentation tanks with calm cone
  2. microfiltration unit composed of:
    • collection tank with a probe for level control
    • stainless steel centrifugal pump necessary to ensure a constant flow of water to be treated so as to maximize the efficiency of filtration and the duration
    • No.7 Cartridges Polypropylene

The majority of the solid particles are collected from the sedimentation tank and accumulated in the conical bottom of the same, the remaining part of the particles are retained by the cartridge filters of microfiltration unit. These filters are washable and resistant to corrosion of any chemical solutions.
