Refrigerant gas dector refrigerant gas leakage transmitter (also called a fixed gas detector / transmitter) is different from handheld detectors. It is a permanently installed device used for continuous monitoring (24/7) of refrigerant leaks in HVAC plants, cold storage, and industrial systems.
A fixed sensor + transmitter unit installed in plant rooms or ducts
Continuously measures gas concentration (ppm or %LEL)
Sends signal to PLC / BMS / alarm system (typically 420 mA, Modbus)
