Planet Leafysources spicy red chill from South India, which is home to a large number of red chilli varieties, and hence is justifiably one of the major exporters of Indian red chilli from India. Due to these abundant reserves of raw material, the Byadgi Chilli: dry red chilli price in India is considerably lower than its competitors.
Chilly (Red pepper) (Paprika) is the largest spice item exported from India in terms of volume. The important States growing chilly are Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Tamilnadu. Andhra Pradesh alone commands 46% of the chilly production in India. Chilly has two important commercial qualities namely colour and pungency. Some varieties of chilly are famous for their red colour because of the pigment capsanthin, others are known for their pungency attributed to capsaicin. Pungency is usually measured scoville scale and capsaicin content percentage.
Guntur, the heart of Dried Red Chilli (Paprika) production in India, is where we primarily source our chilli from. We also source Byadagi from Karnataka, Mundu from Tamil nadu.We have well established networks with the farming community here which allows us to obtain adequate quantity of the required variety of natural red chilli on short notice. The raw red pepper chilli thus collected is processed in our international-standards manufacturing house under recommended parameters to produce Red Chilli Pepper.
We serve our Customers with varieties of long red dry chilli (with stem and without stem) and round chilli (with stem and without stem) as per their requirements. Due to our close proximity to ports, export of finished products can be undertaken without any delay. We have a capacity to export 200 T fresh red chilli per month.
