Density and Strength requirements :
AAC Blocks shall have block dry density between 551 to 700 KG/M3 and compressive strength between 3 to 4 N/mm2 as per Indian standard 2185 Part 1 OR we can manufacture as per client requirement.
Specification of Aac Block :

• Fire rating 2 to 6 hr depending on thickness.

• Sound reduction rating 44 to 45 db for 200 mm thick wall

• Thermal conductivity 0.16 w/mk

• Colour : Greyish.

• Moisture movement 8 to 10%

• Water absorption: 25 to 35%

Benefit of Light weight AAC Blocks:
The low density is achieved by the formation of air voids to produce a cellular structure. These voids are typically 1mm - 5mm across and give the material its characteristic appearance.AAC block density is 551 to 700 Kg/M3,For comparison, clay brick density ranging 1800 to 1900 kg/ m3 and dense concrete blocks a range of 2300-2500 kg /m3.
The use of autoclaved aerated concrete has a range of environmental benefits:
The insulation properties of air crete will reduce the heating costs of buildings constructed with autoclaved aerated concrete, with consequent fuel savings over the lifetime of the building.
As per building regulation minimum strength of brick requirement is 3 KN/mm2 .There are lots of benefitof lower density than higher density listed as under.
It  improves  thermal performance, increase chance of survival during seismic activity and resistance to fire is significantly improves, offers remarkable protection against the damaging effect of frost and insect infestation. It prevent spread of fire within building up to 4 hr and even after fire this walls have been shown to have sufficient strength. Hence its use fully complies with currant building regulation. It is cost effective and accommodates a range of external finishing solution .
Due to light weight of AAC more wall is laid per man-hour than in clay bricks/sand or concrete bricks.
Earthquake forces are directly proportional to dead weight of the building. AAC structures, because of lesser dead weight than clay.
