Air Permeability Test Apparatus

The determination the fineness of cements, pozzolanas and other powdery materials, various international specifications recommended use of “specific area” method in the instruments described below, air permeability method is used to determine the specific surface as total surface area in cm2/g of materials.
It is a variable flow type air permeability apparatus.

permeability cell.

perforated metal disc.
Plunger.
Rubber stopper.
Rubber tube, 20cm long.
Filter paper disc (twelve nos.).
Dibutylphalate liquid, 100ml bottle.
Optional extra:
punch
non-perforated disc.
Suction bulb.
