Bubble CPAP System, also known as Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure System is used to correct respiratory insufficiency in premature and very low birth weight infants. Routine use of Bubble CPAP System in such cases may reduce the incidence of chronic lung diseases. Our Bubble CPAP System works by producing oscillations in the delivered air, blended with oxygen, in the inspiratory limb and maintaining positive pressure in the expiratory limb through a water column. The air pressure thus generated during spontaneous breathing is sufficient to open the baby's lungs for proper airflow but unlike a mechanical ventilator does not force the patient to breathe, thereby avoiding any risk or damage to the lungs.
