Contact SupplierVectus Industries Limited feels proud to introduce its ultramodern range of Composite Pipes & Fittings, which combine the advantages of metal and plastic pipes and eliminate the disadvantages of both materials at the same time.
Vectus Composite Piping Systemscome with multiple layers, which include Polyethylene and Aluminium combined with strong adhesive that gives it an upper hand over other plastic pipes.
The aluminium core in a Composite Piping System is absolutely diffusion tight and effectively prevents oxygen or gases from permeating into the pipe to a great extent. With an intense research and help of CNC machines, Vectus has crafted the thickness of the layers such that it not only provides strength but also protects the pipe from infiltration offoreign particles into it.Also, aluminium has been selected for its composition such that it gives the pipe more flexibility and helps it to bend easily and get a desired shape with less efforts; at the same time, restricts the spring back phenomenon.
Vectus Composite Pipes conform to IS: 15450:2004 – a standard specification for Polyethylene / Aluminium/ Polyethylene (PE-AL-PE) Composite Pipes. The VectusComposite Piping Systems are manufactured using a high density polymer effectively bonded in the inside and outside of an aluminium core with the help ofan adhesive.Â
Advantages of PE layers
PE layers of Composite pipes provide all the benefits of a plastic pipe which include:
• Corrosion & scale resistance
• Chemically inert
• Smooth surface for better flow rate
• Non-toxic & rust free
Advantages of Adhesive layers
• Perfectly bond the metal and plastic layers.
• Absorb eventual shifting movements between the plastic and the metal layers; likely to occur in opposite directions.
• Give the Composite pipe, advantages of a single component pipe.
Advantages of an Aluminium core
• It act as a permeation barrier against entry of contaminants.
• Limits oxygen permeability to an absolute zero.
• Provides mechanical resistance to deformation.
• Restricts expansion or contraction which could occur due to a change in temperature.
