H & J steel pillar die sets, are manufactured with top and base plates of mild steel, duly stress relieved in electrical furnace to eliminate stresses generated by gas cutting and to ensure accuracy over prolonged periods. "H & J" steel pillar die sets are manufactured in square or rectangular die spaces and with diagonal rear centre pillar position from 75mm x 50 mm die space up to 600mm x 450 mm die space and also in four pillars up to 1500mm x 600 mm die space. The standard thickness and overall sizes of the plates are as per catalogue but can also be manufactured as per the customer requirement.

Over all size up to 2500 x 1500 mm shanks, ball sleeves, detachable pillar units can be provided to any of the steel pillar die sets if required. Die sets

with aluminium alloy or alloy steel can also be manufactured against specific requirements. In view of continuous developments specification may be changed.

Ball Bearing Die Sets: Standard Die sets are manufactured to a very close limit, but where the nature of work requires extreme accuracy or where high speed presses are used, we recommend the use of our precision die sets fitted with ball bearing bushes.

H & J BALL SLEEVE pillar die sets are manufactured for precision dies and high speed presses and can be supplied in any of our ranges. In this, high precision bearing grade balls are used with aluminium alloy or brass, ball sleeves. Orders for shanks of required sizes can be supplied with 'H & J' pillar die sets at extra cost.
