The Brookfield DV‑III Programmable Rheometer is a high-precision rotational viscometer designed for comprehensive viscosity and rheological analysis of both Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids. It offers a wide viscosity measurement range from approximately 0.5 to 100,000,000 cP, depending on the spindle and speed combination. With a broad speed range from 0.01 to 250 RPM (expandable in certain configurations), the instrument allows flexible testing under various shear conditions. It provides ±1% accuracy and ±0.2% repeatability, ensuring reliable and reproducible measurements.
The viscometer features a digital display showing real-time data, including viscosity (cP or mPa·s), torque (%), speed (RPM), spindle ID, shear rate, shear stress, and temperature (when used with an optional probe). It includes multiple programmable speed settings and built-in test routines, supporting standalone operation or integration with data acquisition software via USB, RS‑232, and analog output ports.
Temperature control compatibility ranges from –100 °C to +300 °C, with temperature accuracy of ±1 °C up to 150 °C and ±2 °C up to 300 °C.
