E-Waste Management
E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 notified by Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Govt. of India, is in effect since 1st Oct 2016. The rule ensures that producers will guide or provide the collection systems and the proper disposal and/or recycling of the applicable products in environmentally safe manner.
Lipi Data System as an organization is committed to follow & implement these rules & guidelines. All our products delivered with effect from 1st Oct 2016 & thereafter are governed by these rules and as such are marked with the "Crossed Out Wheeled Bin" Crossed Out Wheeled Bin symbol. This symbol is located on the rating label of our products. All such products should be treated separately & should not be mixed with general household/municipal waste.
Customer shall have an option to either dispose of such products at a proper/authorized local waste disposal/dismantle/recycle centre or to return it to our warehouse (Packing & Shipping cost shall be at Customer’s expense). Lipi in-turn shall dispose of such returned material through local waste authority or by dismantling &/or recycling its part & components in internal processes with no other liability.
