FSN Zircon Water Based Coatings, Grade Standard : Industrial Grade

We have come up as a major Manufacturer and Supplier of Zircon Water Based Coatings. The Effcol 100 ZWB is a zircon and water based coating that is offered in a paste or ready-to-use form. Based on high quality zircon, the Zircon Water Based Coatings impart excellent thixotropic properties, resulting in superior suspension characteristics. The Zircon Water Based Coatings grant excellent performance at high temperatures, and a clean and smooth surface finish of casting is obtained.

Typical Properties:

• Colour : Off-White
• Specific Gravity : 2.20-2.30 grams/cc

Application : Product is used for all Cast Iron and Steel grades as well as for Aluminum and can be applied on Cores and Moulds of Cold-Box, Hot-Box and shell resin process. Suitable for Brushing as it is, and optionally dipping/spraying after slight dilution. Drying the coating has to be conducted in an oven at 150-180 degree for 1 hour, when a homogenous and dense coating film is formed.

Advantages : Less preparation time and fast deposit of the coating on the cores. As the product is supplied in ready for use form, thorough mixing of all the ingredients takes place at the time of manufacture. Product gives a complete and uniform coverage, which ensures a good casting finish, free from veining, fining, fusion and penetration and hence lowers the casting cleaning costs.

Storage and Handling : The product should be stored at a room temperature under roof and away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use of safety gears and gadgets is a must while handling the above product.

Shelf life : 4 months from the date of manufacture.

Standard Packing : 40 kg in poly carboys. Directions for Use Effcol 100 ZWB should be mixed with a pneumatic or an electric mixed. Material should be mixed thoroughly in its container before diluting with water. Ideally hardness should be below 90 ppm. Effcol 100 ZWB is designed to be diluted by the customer to its proper specification according application. Effcol 100 ZWB must be torch or oven dried prior do casting.
