Partially Oriented Yarn

Polyester Partially Oriented Yarn, also known as Polyester POY is the major variety of Polyester yarns, being the first form of yarn. Polyester POY is fabricated from PTA and MEG directly. POY is utilized largely to texturize in creating textured yarn, which can be applied in draw warping for entwining and wrap knitting fabrics. Polyester POY yarn is accessible in distinct lusters like Bright POY, Semi-Dull POY, Raw White POY, and in various other lusters. Bright luster POY has a sparkling shine in the yarn because of cross-segments in the filaments. Polyester POY is more durable; adds good abrasion resistance, draping and creasing recovery properties; is wrinkle resistant; and doesn’t fade when exposed under soap or to sunlight.
