Potash-109 - Potash Mobilizing Bacteria

Potash-109 liquid biofertilizer contains cell count of 109 cfuml potash mobilizing bacteria (kmb). Potassium enhances photosynthesis and transport of assimilates (sugar and starches) to the storage organs (fruits, roots & seeds). It is involved in cell enlargement and in triggering the growth of young tissues. A significant share of soil potassium occurs in unavailable form in soil minerals (upto 98%) and the concentration of soluble potassium (k) in soil, which is readily taken up by plants is usually very low (1-2%). Potash mobilizing bacteria (kmb) in potash-109 produce organic acids which influence mineral potassium dissolution rate, there by making soluble potassium readily available to plants.
