Epoxy coatings are formed on the basis of customer requirement or the requirement for the end product. We have to mix catalyst with base and applied, epoxies component produce a hard, chemical and solvent resistant finish. Basically they are used on steel and concrete to give resistance to alkali, water and acids.
- 1st Coat :A two pack polyamide cured, epoxy anticorrosive primer containing Zinc phosphate pigment. The red version contains red oxide of iron apart from zinc phosphate. The primer gives excellent adhesion to steel. It is compatible with a wide range of topcoats and thus forms highly efficient protective schemes for corrosive, coastal and chemical environments.
- 2nd Coat :Â A two pack polyamide cured high build epoxy coating based on laminar micaceous iron oxide pigment. Designed for application on structural steel as an intermediate or finish coat exposed to aggressive coastal and industrial environment. The product acts as a tough barrier coat with excellent impermeability to moisture. The grey version contains Titanium dioxide pigment apart from MIO pigment.
- 3rd Coat :Â A two pack polyamide cured High Build epoxy coating specially formulated as a finish coat for the protection of steel and concrete surfaces exposed to humid, saline and chemical environment. This coating when overcoated by Polyurethane finish immensely upgrades the anticorrosive performance of the system with outstanding weathering resistance and colour retention.
