In India, it is cultivated in Gujarat, Bihar, Goa and Rajasthan. The flowers of Shankhpuspi are rounded and bell shaped and white and red in color. The Root part that called Moola is used to make medicines. It contains many chemicals including Carbohydrate D- Glucose, Rhamnose, Maltose, Sucrose.
