They are used for compaction of freshly poured concrete in situ. Killicks needle vibrators are available powered by electric, petrol, petrol kerosene and diesel motors, in sizes of 25, 40, and 60 mm, with larger sizes on request. Rubber shafts are available from 4 metres to 15 metres length. External vibrators are important components for concrete compaction. They are used for shuttering on site and in concrete works producing precast elements. Typical uses are concrete floors, pillars, columns, general formwork vibration both unitary and battery, walls, roofs and roof trusses, beams, girders, railway ties etc. Killicks external vibrators with 3000 vibrations per minute have a long service life and require low maintenance. They are also available in low voltage versions for added safety, along with their accompanying transformers.
