Espoir Surge Tanks

We offer surge tanks used in potable, raw and wastewater applications. Surge tanks are usually provided in high or medium-head plants when there is a considerable distance between the water source and the power unit, necessitating a long pen stock.

The main functions of the surge tank are :

• When the load decreases, the water moves backwards and gets stored in it.
• When the load increases, additional supply of water will be provided by surge tank Sand Filters
• We specialize in manufacturing and supplying a wide range of Sand Filters. Sand filters are used for water purification.
• There are three main types :
  
  • Rapid (gravity) sand filters
  • Up flow sand filters
  • Slow sand filters All three methods are used extensively in the water industry throughout the world.
  • The first two require the use of flocculant chemicals to work effectively while slow sand filters can produce very high quality water free from pathogens, taste and odour without the need for chemical aids.
