Tagetus Essential Oil

Main constituents of this essential oil are trans-ocimene, I-verbenone , limonene , and tagetone.
Extraction:
Tagetus Oil is extracted by the steam distillation method from the flowers, stalks and leaves of the tagetes.Appearance is Yellow to reddish orange. Tagetes is used for digestive tract problems including poor appetite, gas, stomach pain, colic, intestinal worms, and dysentery. It is also used for coughs, colds, mumps, fluid retention, and sore eyes; and causing sweating. Tagetes essential oil has a fresh and herbaceous aroma with powerful notes of green apple and a subtle floral undertone.
