Cambridge Rocking Microtome Model RMT - 10 is very well known and one of the best established microtomes in the world, which has given outstanding service to numerous microtomists through the years. It is designed for sectioning comparatively soft, wax-embedded tissues with a thickness range of 2 m to 24 m, in steps of 2 m. Calibrated in 2 micron divisions, the section cutting thickness can be set easily and quickly by a single control. It is recommended for elementary biology & pathology students.The rocking microtome is an extremely reliable instrument comprising of three moving parts. The lead screw mechanism incorporates quality precision engineering and the cutting stroke is controlled by a single control lever which minimizes the operator skill required. Sliding Microtome Model RMT - 45 is a standard sectioning instrument especially designed for Research Laboratories for cutting sections of paraffin as well as celloiden embedded specimens. Sliding Microtome is having the advantage of vertical object feed by Micrometer Screw and Cylinder so rigidly held that perfect immobility under the knife is ensured, even when cutting relatively large, hard and in homogeneous specimens.The heavy knife block mounted on slideways can be actuated entirely by hand. The Microtome comprises of a stable heavy cast base stand on a precise sliding track over which slides a sturdy knife holder. Its smooth and efficient operation has a great advantage of vertical object feed. The object holder has rapid vertical adjustment by means of a lever mechanism. Placed below the object holder is a drip pan for excess alcohol or water. its knife holder rigidly supports a 120mm knife made from imported fine grain hard tool steel, which ensures accurate sectioning not only of soft tissues but also harder materials such as stem, root and other objects etc. Sliding Microtome is recommended to the labs where sections of fairly large specimens are required.

Advance Rotary Microtome RMT-30AIt is a universally approved, modern and reliable sectioning equipment designed for very precise sectioning of tissues upto 1 m thickness. The feed indicator, located in front of microtome & is operated by the latest 'CAM DRIVE SYSTEM' for accurate feed setting from 1-50 m in steps of 1 m which is conveniently located in the front for instant references and its setting is controlled by a knurled knob at the front of the microtome. The interior mechanism rests on heavy metal base and is covered with a full protective cover for easier cleaning and lubrication. RADICAL Rotary Microtome Model RMT-20 is a highly versatile sectioning device suitable for Medical Institutions, Research & Pathological Laboratories. This microtome has special application for cutting thin sections of histopathological specimens and also caters to the demands of industries such as Plastic, Leather, Textiles, Rubber & Fertilizer. It is ideal for those who want to avail advantages of a Rotary Microtome at a moderate cost.The entire mechanism stands on a heavy cast iron base ensuring stability and rigidity. Its compound slide ways of critical tolerances guide the specimen block. The metal hinged cover housing protects the internal mechanism against dust and paraffin waste, it can be conveniently opened for resetting, cleaning and lubricating. The Microtome is driven by a handle which can also be locked. Cutting sections are obtained in different thickness by mechanically operated crank through a knurled knob in front of the instrument. The knurled knob is graduated in microns for feed setting and ready reference. A detent click action ensures positive adjustments in one micron increment.The knife holder unit is equipped with a rotating knife clamp to adjust desired angles for best sectioning. It has forward and backward movements to ensure contact of specimen with the knife and lateral movement to get maximum use of knife edge. Smooth & accurate specimen movement is achieved with the time proven operating principles of the feed mechanism. Travel is entirely independent to the vertical movement of the specimen block. When the feed limit reaches to an end point, it disengages itself. To bring the feed screw back, the vice is pressed slightly and the main gear wheel is turned clockwise till the screw reaches its starting position. All parts are fabricated from selected alloys and the Microtome knife is manufactured from fine grain steel tested to maintain optimum sharpness strength.

Freezing Microtome Model RMT - 40 is designed to the full purpose of accurate and quick diagnosis in surgery and also for the inspection of quality of rubbes and others. It has a table clamping device. The specimen rises accurately and automatically by a handle. The CO2 freezing attachment is provided with a hard rubber non-conducting plate between the corrugated surface to which the object is frozen and the rest of the apparatus, which prevents the conduction of heat from the other parts of the apparatus to the specimen; thus saving time and CO2. In operating this freezing attachment the valve at the bottom should first be closed and valve at the cylinder slightly opened to admit the gas into the tube.The Automatic feed mechanism can be thrown out of action by turning the Index Finger to the extreme left or it may be set to cut sections of any desired thickness. Each division of the graduated scale marks 5 m, the Microtome range being 5-40 m. The sturdy Knife Holder can be tilted to a convenient angle of the Knife suitable to the object.Specifications :-
