Guar Seed is the raw agricultural product harvested from the guar plant (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba), primarily cultivated in India. These small, hard, grayish-green seeds are the base material for producing guar gum powder, widely used in food and industrial applications. Rich in galactomannan, the seeds are processed to extract gum that acts as a natural thickener and stabilizer. Guar seeds also hold value in cattle feed, green manure, and crop rotation due to their nitrogen-fixing ability, making them agriculturally and commercially significant.
Guar Seed is a valuable leguminous crop grown mainly in arid and semi-arid regions of India.
