The resistance to water penetration is determined by the quantity of water absorbed by a paper or a board when one of its faces is placed in contact with this liquid, under the conditions.
Cobb Tester consists of a brass (or gun metal) cylinder of known inside diameter and length. It has a metallic plate, which is used for clamping the one side of the cylinder with the help of bracket and bolts. The metallic plate, which is used for clamping purpose, is paste a rubber sheet for the perfect clamping. The whole assembly of the cylinder and clamping arrangement is pivoted so that easy and fast pour off the water takes place. A brass roller of specified size and shape is also provided with the instrument. Vibration Test is carried out to assess the performance of a filled package in terms of its strength or protection that it offers to its contents when subjected to vibration. Drop test is intended for use in evaluating the capability of a container, corrugated box, filled bags, bottles and other similar items to with stand the sudden shock resulting from a free fall, or to evaluate the capability of these and its inner packing to protect its contents during the sudden shock resulting from a free fall. Drop test method may also be used to compare the performance of different package designs. This test method may also permit observation of the progressive failure of a these items and the damage to its contents.

Operation :A box attached to a vertical column is provided with mechanism to release the resting table instantaneously. For easy adjustment of the drop heights this box is balanced by a counter-weight over a pulley. Package under test is placed on the resting table. By pressing the lever on the box, the package is allowed to fall on the platform at the bottom. The fall is straight and perfectly vertical. The machine is sturdy and easy to operate.

Tensile strength and elongation are the two prime characteristics of most of the raw materials, whether they are metals or non-metals, such as foam, rubber, textiles, plastic, paper or finished products such as rods, wires, ropes, yarns, belts etcetera. These properties very often play the major role in determining the suitability of any raw material for any specific application. It is therefore, of utmost importance to determine these characteristics accurately, conveniently, and quickly.
TBG Tensile Testing Machine provides a relatively inexpensive way for determining the tensile strength and elongation of variety of raw materials. They are based on constant rate of traverse principle in which one end of the test specimen is held in a stationary grip, while the other end is made to move at a known fixed speed with the help of motor, gear box and screw arrangement. The load exerted on the stationary grip is sensed by a load cell and indicated by a digital load indicator. The controller is microprocessor based and has the facility of over load protection, peak hold and auto calibration. There is a socket in the indicator which is connected to the PC. The load directly indicated in kilograms or Newton.
We provide the Window based software (In Computerized Model Only) which gives the different measurement parameter and the graph between load vs elongation. The elongation of the test specimen is measured on a digital indicator fixed on the frame of the tester, which indicates the distance between the grips and also in computer screen in computerized model.

PET Bottle Burst Tester is specialized test equipment for testing the internal pressure resistance of PET bottles. Users can choose the test method basing on their requirement. It is capable to test the capacity of resilience under certain pressure or the rupture test of the PET bottle.

Operation

• It consists of a chamber which consists of simple bottle neck holder.
• A thick polycarbonate sheet is fixed on door which enables to view test with proper safety.

Operating Method

• A bottle is filled with water and held in a fixture which has simple mechanical locking arrangement.
• Timer is set as per requirement.
• Test button is pressed.
• Pressurizing nozzle is moved down on bottle neck by pneumatic cylinder.
• Solenoid valve in pressure line also opens and bottle is pressurized.
• After completion of time system stops automatically.

The tester can be set to perform "time-holding resistance" tests at set pressure & time period according to requirement of bottle specifications. Custom operating procedure can be provided on request.
