The Infra-red Sensor works when any solid object is placed inbetween the Transmitter & Receiver of the sensor.
User can observe the result of +24V or GND at the output of thescrew terminals of the module.
The Proximity Sensor Capacitive workswhen any object comes in contact withthe sensor.
User can observe the result of +24V orGND at the output of the screw terminalsof the module.
Pressure Sensor is an analog sensorwhich works when the air pressureis given to the sensor.
User can observe the result of theAnalog output from 1V to 5V correspondingto the pressure of 0 to1MPa at the output of the screw terminals of the module.
The Reed Switch Sensor works whenthe magnet comes in contact with thesensor.
User can observe the result of +24V or GND at the output of thescrew terminals of the module.
The Throttle Position Sensor is apotentiometer (variable resistor)which attaches to the throttle shaftand sends a voltage signal to thecomputer, telling it how far open thethrottle is. The resistance across it is about 5, 000 ohms. At idlethe voltage is about 0.7 V and wide open throttle is about 4.0 V.You can measure the voltage with ignition on and engine off, using a voltmeter.
The Optical Sensor works when any objectis placed in between the Transmitter &Receiver of the sensor.

The intake air temperature sensor (IAT) tells the ECM the temperature of the air that is going into the engine. The coolerthe air, the better the performance of theengine, which is probably why you might have noticed adifference in the cars performance on a summer night ascompared to the day.
The MAP sensor is a pressure sensor chipwhich puts out a voltage proportional toengine vacuum, from zero to 5 volts. Thecomputer uses the voltage to decide if thethrottle is open and how far, so it can adjustthe fuel mixture.
This sensor is very similar to the camposition sensor in functionality. It is responsiblefor telling the ECM the exact locationof the crankshaft as well as the RPM (rotationsper minute) of the engine. With thisinformation the ECM knows the position of each piston in eachcylinder.
The Coolant Temperature Sensor is a thermistor(temperature-dependent variable resistor)which screws into the thermostat housingand sends a voltage signal to the computer, telling it the coolant temperature. The resistance acrossit is about 13, 000 ohms with engine off at room temperature.
The Oxygen Sensor is a feedback device thatsenses how much oxygen is in the exhaust.The zirconium coating in the sensor producesa small voltage when exposed to depletedlevels of oxygen, so a lean exhaust which has
excess oxygen yields a signal of about 0.2 V, whereas a rich mixture (all oxygen consumed)produces over 0.7 V.
