Superphosphate Fertilizers

Molecular formula Ca(H2PO4)2.2H2O
Appearance White to light grey granules.
Effects and symptoms Hazardous in case of contact with skin, eyes, inhalation and/or ingestion
Packaging materials Use original container.

Composition : A preparation containing 8.3 to 20% P (Mainly as mono calcium phosphate, balance as gypsum)

Specific immediate treatment

Inhalation : If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Ingestion : Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If not unconscious wash out mouth with water and give a cup of water to drink. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Skin contact : In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Eye contact : In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Check for and remove any contact lenses. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.

Urea Fertilizer

Synonyms Urea HB, Urea LB
Composition A stable substance containing, ca. 100% Urea.
Appearance White or green solid prills or granules
Packaging materials Use original container

Effects and symptoms : Heating under confinement may lead to violent reaction or explosion. Dust may cause irritation or coughing, inhalation and/or ingestion.

Specific immediate treatment

Inhalation : Remove patient from exposure, keep warm and at rest. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Ingestion : Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Give plenty of water to drink. Loosen tight clothing such as collar, tie, belt or waistband. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Skin contact : In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothes and shoes before re-use. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Eye contact : In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Check for and remove any contact lenses. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
