FeaturesThe spud part of the coupling serves as one half of the Boss Ground Joint connection therefore it is usually fixed to the equipment. As a result stem part that is clamped to the hose is the other half. The two halves are connected or disconnected by rotating the wing nut on the spud. Finally when connected they achieve both a mechanical, and a pressure seal.

Safety Precautions175 PSI Maximum recommended operating pressure: coupling joint only not hose retention.
Use safety clips in holes provided on each coupling. Use steel safety cables to guard against accidental separation of lines.
