FAV Fittings are available in Stainless Steel, Brass, Steel, Monel, High Duty Bronze, Hastelloy C, Incoloy, Inconel 600. Straight fittings are machined from cold finished bar stock and shaped bodies are machined from close grain forgings. The raw materials used fully conform to the chemical requirements of one or more of the specifications listed.

Tubing sizes are measured in sixteenths of an inch. Available sizes are 1/8" through 2". When ordering, the tube end of the fitting must be specified first followed by the pipe thread or straight thread end. All fittings in this section are ordered as assemblies only unless otherwise specified by customers when ordering

Hydraulic fittings consist of a body, a one-piece ferrule, and a nut are available in carbon steel, brass, and stainless steel. With a large number of configurations, there will be a fitting that is ideally suited to meet the requirements of almost any industrial application. On assembly, the ferrule bites into the outer surface of the tube with sufficient strength to hold the tube against pressure and seal the fluid, without considerable distortion of the inside tube diameter. Hydraulic fittings have a visible bite, allowing the fitting assembler to visually inspect the bite quality, thus significantly minimizing the risk of improper assembly and related service problems.Hydraulic fittingsare especially suitable for use with tube wall thickness ranging from medium to extra heavy. For proper bite, bottoming out the tube is essential for the make-up of the fitting. Leak-free performance is guaranteed when bite type fittings are assembled properly. No special tools are required to obtain proper installation.

Hydraulic fittingsare also suitable for use with soft metal tube and various types of plastic tubes such as nylon, polyethylene, etc. When used with plastic tube, it is strongly recommended that a tube insert, be used to prevent tube pull out due to tensile loading.
