The versatile apparatus may be used as demonstration model with an overhead projector or as an economical method of allowing pupils to carry out their own investigations. Four legs are provided enabling the tank to also be used as a free standing bench model. Facilities are provided for mounting a ripple tank illuminant. A gantry is supplied for supporting a motor beam, the height of which is adjustable allowing it to be positioned for maximum effect. Ripples are produced by small 1.5V to 4.5V D.C. motor mounted on the wooden beam of 240 mm length. A cam is fitted to the motor spindle to give an oscillatory motion and a row of nine holes in the beam are for mounting the spherical dippers for production of circular ripples.
Provide 50 Hz alternating current stimulus for producting minimal and super maximal seizures required in the assay anti-convulsant and epiteptic durgs complete with one pair corneal electrode 4, 6 or 8mm cups. and one pair of ear clips work on 220 A.C.
For demonstration of heliotropism and geotropism, germinating seedings are pinned to the cork table which is rotated by an electric motor. About 70mm dia cork linked disc, with fitting to take specimen tube clear plastic cover, angle adjustable from horizontal to vertical by a thumb screw, clock work motor which rotates 4 revolutions per hour, 220V 50hz supplies. Complete with 3 core cable. Height about 30cm.
Digital Display, these are designed to provide light effects for multipurpose viewing in bacteriology, virology & Mycology labs. An ideal instrument for counting bacterial and mould colonies in culture work. It provides uniform glare free illumination to minimise the strain on eyes and clearly defines even small colonies. A 100mm dia lens covers the entire illuminations field and its magnification assures highly accurate results. Counting plate with standard wolfhugel ruling ensures clearly differentiated and sharply defined colonies. Supplied complete with counting plate, lens, cord and plug.
This model is fitted with automatic 4 digits LED Digital Display. It minimise the strain of counting. Each tough of MARKING PENCIL in the petridish increments the colony count by pen and the glowing L.E.D. Digital Display depicts the total colony count, thus relieving the technician from the tedious task of counting and eliminating the chances of error. Maximum colony count possible upto 999. Provided with a manual RESET of digital display. ON/OFF switch, counting pencil, cord and plug.
