Plus Elevated Maze is the most simple apparatus to study anxiolytic response of almost all types ofantianxiety agents. It consists of two open arms (16 x 5 cms) and two enclosed arms (16x5x12 cms) with an open roof and is elevated to a height of 25 cms.
The apparatus consists of test cup, lid with handle, removable cup cover with spring operated rotating shutter having pilot jet and flexible shaft. Used to determine the durability and abrasivness of tablets. A transparent perpex drum (made of imported perspex sheet 6.4 mm thick) 300 mm dia x 35 mm. deep and -white cover disc and nut, also a shaped radial fixed blade which carries the tablets along with it up to the central height and lets them off while the drum is rotating. Thus the tablets rub against each other without any hard impact. The drum rotates at a fixed speed of 30 R.P.M. by a geared motor and the rotation period is controlled by a timer (imported time switch duration I to 15 minutes) per determined end preset. The motor unit is housed in a shaped steel cabinet with shaft extended on one side upon which the drum rotates. Switches with neon indicators and time switch are fitted on a panel and provided work on 220 volts 50 C/s A.C.Digital models are also available.

The test equipment work on up and down movement of tablet in medium of water kept at 370C. Built in a steel cabinet of 17"x12"x9" high which housed a geared motor for the vertical shaft drive the shaft moves up and down by 50 to 60 mm at speed of 28-32 strokes per minute. On the upper end of the shaft fitted a horizontal strip with clamp on either side. These clamps hold glass vessels open at both ends and with stainless steel wire gauge with rubber rings at the lower end, which dips in water. Two independently thermostatically controlled hot plate rating 65 watt are fixed on the top of the cabinet upon which beakers of 1000 ml size are placed filled with water. Temperature is maintained at 37C with and accuracy of 10C. Independent switches with neon indicators for motor hot plates are fitted on a panel. Mains fuse with two meters mains cord and plug provided. Work on 220 volts A.C. mains.
Two cast metal uprights, height 18 cm, fitted with two nickel plated rods supporting expansion bar of length 38 cm. Expansion bar is fixed to one upright and moves a pointer on the other, when heated. With scale reading0 to 90, supplied with one each aluminium, brass and iron expansion bars.

This is a compact instrument designed for accurate determinations of melting points of solid samples. The unit consists of a built-in magnetic stirrer, an electronic controller for adjusting the rate of heating of silicon oil bath, an ON/OFF switch, a pilot lamp, magnifier, a glare-free background illuminated, a HIGH/LOW range selector switch and a digital temperature indicator with PT 100 sensor.

A complete unit for comprising rates of absorption or evolution of gases by small organisms, during respiration. The apparatus consists of two stoppered boiling tubes connected by three way taps to either limb of a graduated manometer. One tube holds the organisms and has a syringe for altering the level of liquid in the manometer during setting up. The other tube acts as a control thermo-barometer. CO2 given off by the respiring organism is absorbed by potassium bydroxide in the experimental chamber resulting in a change in the level of liquid in the manometer tube. Diameter rotatable vertically on pair of adjustable centers and dipping into mercury trough between the vertical limbs of a small horseshoe magnet on a wood base 15x 10 cm.
