Although black pepper is quite famous worldwide, black pepper oil is not widely known. The plant is known to be rich in essential oil (2–3 %) and a source of numerous biologically active constituents such as monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, and other volatile compounds which makes it highly beneficial. Especially, monoterpenes are present in abundant quantities, which has been known to have a positive impact on the body.

Constituents & Specifications
The major components of the black pepper essential oil are α-pinene, sabinene, β-pinene, δ-3-carene, limonene, and β-caryophyllene. The oils were primarily made of monoterpene hydrocarbons and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons.
