Auxiliary Power Unit Fuel Feed Pump

  • Rated Flow (lpm) Up to 10 gpm
  • Fuel Type RT, Jet-A, Jet A-1, TS-1
  • Temperature Range (C) -60° to 70° C
Our APU fuel feed pumps uses 28 V direct current (DC) to drive a high-efficiency DC motor. For brushless DC motor driven pumps, the integral electronic controller uses Hall Effect sensor rotor-position feedback. The electronic controller does not use any software or programmable logic devices.

For cartridgecanister style pumps, the canister is installed on the wet side of the tank with the pump cartridge installed into the canister from the dry side. This allows the element that contains the motor and bearings to be replaced without draining the fuel tank.

Ranging from fuel boost and transfer pumps to hydraulic brake and actuation pumps, potable water pumps, recirculation pumps, and APU fuel feed pumps, Parker Aerospaces fuel pumps add real power to both military and commercial aircraft. Our brushless, electric DC motor-driven pumps with sensorless or sensor-based electronic controls offer powerful advantages.

Fuel Transfer Pump

  • Rated Flow (gpm) Up to 250 gpm
  • Fuel Type JET A, JP-5, JP-8
  • Maximum Fuel Temperature (F) 130°F
  • Minimum Fluid Temperature (F) -45°F
  • Temperature Range (F) -65°C to 160°F
Parker Aerospace fuel transfer pumps main pumping element use a centrifugal impeller driven by a three phase constant frequency or variable frequency induction motor. Input frequency varies between 360 and 800 Hz. The canister is installed on the wet side of the spar with the pump element installed into the canister from the dry side. This allows the element that contains the motor and bearings to be replaced without draining the fuel tank.

Dual-Flow Motor-Driven Pump

  • Rated Flow (gpm) 25 GPM at 145 psi (dual mode)
  • Temperature Range (F) -40° to +80°F
  • Duty Cycle (%) Continuous
The pump functions as a self-contained, variable-speed, electric motor-driven cooling pump that flows fluid through aircraft cooling systems. It is a completely sealed unit without drains or sumps. The unit is pad mounted and communicates directly with aircraft electronic controls. The pump can be used in single- or dual-channel operating mode for redundant-system requirements.

Electric Motor-Driven Pumps

  • Voltage 115 VAC, 230 VAC, 28 VDC, 270 VDC
  • Pressure 1000 to 3000 psi
  • Flow Range (GPM) 0.2 to 25 GPM
  • Weight (lbs) 8 to 67 lbs
Parker can offer a variety of electric motor driven pumps (EMP) for aerospace applications. Parkers ability to design and manufacture all major elements of our EMPs including, pump, motor, motor controller, and associated software, leads to a highly integrated and efficient EMP solution.

Parker provides AC motor driven pumps (ACMPs) and DC motor driven pumps (DCMPs) for main hydraulic power, supplemental power, or emergency backup power.

EMPs use electric input from either aircraft generators or batteries. Parker motors can be designed to operate with a variety of electric-power inputs including; fixed-frequency AC, variable-frequency AC, 28VDC, 270VDC, and others. Parker motor controllers and associated software can be tailored for specific motor types and support unique power-management requirements.

The motors are directly coupled to drive an axial-piston hydraulic pump. These pumps are pressure compensated and can be tuned to provide constant pressure up to rated flow or constant horsepower by lowering pressure as flow demand increases, depending on the hydraulic system demands and electrical systems power constraints.

Bi-directional DCMPs can be installed in point-of-use hydraulic systems or regional power packs to minimize system size and complexity in more-electric aircraft.

Electric Motor-Driven Positive-Displacement Pump

  • Voltage (VAC) 115VAC 400hz
  • Maximum Current (amps) 25 amps
  • Torque Rating (in-lbs) 11.5 in lbs maximum
  • Motor Type Liquid cooled
The modular electric motor pump (EMP) is a positive-displacement pump designed for aircraft applications using a variety of di-electric fluids. This product is a fixed-speed device and flow can be easily adjusted by changing width of the gerotor to meet the specific application. The maximum-discharge pressure is controlled by a pressure relief valve that can be modified to provide safety margin in the system.

The EMP is designed to work with the engine oil replenishment unit (EORU), another product that can be incorporated into any business jet. The EORU is a 28Vdc system that can accommodate two or three engines. Oil volume can be customized to accommodate the application. The EORU is designed to operate down to -20F.
