Coating Adhesion Tester For Vinyl Coated Fabric - The adhesion between the fabric and its coating should be sufficiently strong so that the two do not separate during the normal usage of the material. Adhesion of vinyl coating to the fabric substrate is determined by separating the coating of a rectangular test specimen for some distance and peeling it apart under the action of a specified dead weight. The length through which the test specimen splits in a period of five minutes gives the measure of its coating adhesion strength. The  Coating Adhesion Tester evaluates the adhesion between the coating and fabric substrate under the action of a dead weight. It consists of a metallic frame on which one of the split ends in held, and a floating grip for holding the other split end.
