Gel Timer

Plastic Gel Timer is an apparatus for determining the gel time of resinous plastic adhesives drying oils and two component elastomers and paints. The model ET-216 produces gel time with accuracy at Ambient or shop temperatures. It is designed to withstand hard use.The material sample is placed in a cheap paper throw-away cup on to the base of unit. The wire stirrer is inserted, counter is set to zero and tester switched on. When gel occurs, the time is read and the cup and stirrer can be thrown away. The motor can remain stalled overnight
