Halam Seed

Garden cress is a plant. The parts that grow above the ground are used to make medicine. People take garden cress for coughs, vitamin C deficiency, constipation, tendency toward infection (poor immune system), and fluid retention. Halam Seeds s one of the herbs mentioned in all ancient scripture of Ayurveda. It is the most commonly used herb for household remedies. It is pungent, bitter and sweet in taste, strong in post digestive effect and has hot potency. It is also useful in Diarrhea, Blood Pressure and Diseases due to Vata and has great medicinal values.
