Malabar tamarind is one of the common ingredients used in fish curries in Kerala. It also used in Ayurveda medicines. Kudampuli or Malabar tamarind have high level of hydroxycritic acid(HCA) and it is mostly used for weight loss. HCA mainly remove the enzyme which convert the sugar into fat to our body.
