Open Standpipe Piezometer

The open standpipe Piezometer is used for measuring ground water level and it is variation with time.The open standpipe consists of a PVC riserstand pipe of 50mm OD,3m in length with socket for joining.The intake point consists of a PVC standriser pipe 1m long perforated section,duly covered with brass mesh. The ground water seeps in to this riserstand pipe through the slottedperforated section, and attains a level equal to ground water. The measurement is taken through the help of an Electronic water level indicatiorsounder with required cable length.
