AMROFIX DRY SYRUP is a combination of two medicines :
Amoxycillin and clavulanate potassium
Amoxycillin belongs to a class of medications known as penicillin-like antibiotics.
Clavulanate potassium belongs to a class of medications known as beta-lactamase inhibitors.
Both of them are used together to treat many different infections caused by bacteria.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Amoxycillin acts through the inhibition of cell wall biosynthesis that leads to the death of the bacteria.
Clavulanate potassium works by preventing bacteria from destroying amoxicillin, thereby indirectly providing a synergistic effect
