Dapagliflozin & Metformin
Dapagliflozin: It belongs to a class of medications called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. It lowers blood sugar by causing the kidneys to get rid of more glucose in the urine.
Metformin:Metformin belongs to a class of drugs called biguanides. It helps to control the amount of glucose (sugar) in blood by decreasing the amount of glucose you absorb from your food .
EVAPUMP (Ivabradine) belongs to a class of drugs known as hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channel blockers.
INDICATION:
This medication is used to treat adults who have chronic heart failure to reduce their risk of hospitalisation for worsening heart failure.
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
EVAPUMP (Ivabradine) is a heart rate lowering medication. It works by reducing the heart rate which lowers the oxygen requirement of the heart. As a result, the heart works more efficiently.
