MECHANISM OF ACTION:
ENLORIL (Enalapril Maleate) is an Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by blocking the action of angiotensin in the body(an enzyme that causes blood vessels to tighten). As a result, it relaxes the blood vessels, thereby normalising the blood pressure.

cyptaryl syrup is composed of three medicines: cyproheptadine hcl, tricholine citrate and sorbitol .
this combination is generally used as appetite stimulant.
indication :
anorexia nervosa (an eating disorder with low body weight)
loss of appetite
it also maintains cholesterol levels in the body.
mechanism of action :
cyproheptadine is an appetite-stimulant. it works by reducing the effect of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the hypothalamus, a part of the brain which regulates appetite.
tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent which removes bile acids from the body. the liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol, as a result of which cholesterol level is lowered.
sorbitol acts as a syrup base and also as an osmotic laxative to relieve constipation.
