Brivaracetam belongs to a class of medications called anticonvulsants. It is widely used for the treatment of epileptic seizures.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Brivaracetam works by attaching itself to specific sites (SV2A) on the surfaces of nerve cells. This suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain and prevents the spread of electrical signals that cause seizures.

INDICATION:

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Diacerein is a proteoglycan synthesis stimulator. It works by building cartilage (soft connective tissue around the joints) leading to joint repair. It also lowers pain and inflammation (swelling).
