Heating Cord

FLEXIBLE HEATING CORDS FOR MAXIMUM SURFACE TEMP 400C
Flexible heating cords are made from high grade resistance wire and covered with fiber glass yarn sleeves. These cords are flexible and can be wrapped on metallic or non-metallic pipe, funnel, beakers, valves, pots of any shape where heating is necessary. These cords are easy to wrap on any shape article.
These cords are available in different length like 2.5m, 5m, 10m and 20m and can be used on single phase a-c supply. The wattage density is 0.5 watt/cm length. For easy electric connections, the cords are supplied with connectors at both ends. Electric supply connection wires are to be connected to these connections.

HIGH TEMPERATURE HEATING CORD FOR MAXIMUM SURFACE TEMPERATURE 800C
As above but covered with porcelene beads and braided with stainless steel wire. Suitable for temperature 800c.The wattage density is 1 watt/cm or 2 watts/cm
Operation:Wrap cord on article to be heated & connect to 240 volts main. Switch on electric supply. First time some smoke may come out from the cord, but no smoke will be issued in second heating.To maintain temperature use our temperature control unit ssi-30 (energy regulator) with our heating cords.
