SHITAL HOT AIR OVENS:
Shital make ovens are designed , fabricated and tested to suit various applications in ever growing field of medical , agricultural , industrial research for day to day heating , drying , sterilizing , baking etc. In laboratories , hospitals and industries. It is also useful to destroy bacteria , virus , fungus by application of dry heat.
CONSTRUCTION:
Shital ovens are sturdy , double or triple wall Memmert type (heating elements from three sides) construction with complete inner chamber made of aluminum or stainless steel . Outer cabinet is made out of CRCA sheets which are properly treated for degreasing and rusting . The outer is painted with duco paint . 50 to 65 mm gap is filled with glass wool for proper insulation to avoid heat losses. Inner chamber is provided with runners to hold the shelves. The oven is provided with 2 to 3 shelves as per the different height of the inner chamber. The shelves are G.I. crimp wire mesh. Door is fitted with heavy casted chrome plated hinges with roller type spring loaded latch and catch.
HEATING ELEMENTS:
The heating elements are made of nickel-chrome 80/20 nichrome wire which are fixed on porcelain insulator and mounted on asbestos mill board having stainless steel screw as terminals which are heat and corrosive resistance. Such type of two or multiple are fitted at bottom with perforated cover proper air circulation. Heaters are connected with three heat switches for low / medium and high temperatures.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL:
Temperature is generally controlled by "ego" German make liquid expansion type S.S. steam , capillary type thermostat having temperature range from 50.c to 300.c . The normal temperature range of the oven is upto 250.c. Temp control knob is graduated in 0.c. As the marking on the knob are not very accurate the actual temperature is to be adjusted with reference to the thermometer. The provision is provided to insert glass thermometer from the top of the unit.
OR OPTIONAL:by electronic digital temperature controller cum indicator with international calibration certificate & pt-100 sensor.
VENTILATION:
An adjustable ventilator is fitted on the top of the oven to ventilate gas/fumes if any and to help air circulation. A hole is provided at the bottom of the unit for air inlet.
ELECTRIC SUPPLY:
The oven is provided with 3 core cable and moulded plug of suitable capacity to plug in the oven to 15amps.single phase 230 volts a.c. 50hz mains.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES:
1) Air circulation fan with motor for uniform temperature throughout the chamber
2) Digital temperature controller-cum indicator with pt 100 sensor for temperature accuracy 1c
3) Electronic digital timer with alarm
